Join me on a trip to Phoenix!

  The next  Be a Leader Event is Saturday, September 24,  from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  We plan to leave from Pinal County area schools or your homes at 8:00 a.m. sharp.  It is an hour drive to ASU Downtown. Park at the U of A — ASU Biomedical Building, 550 E. Van Buren Street,  Phoenix,  85004 –just past North Fifth Street. 

Walk a block to ASU Downtown Mercado Campus.

Driving Directions – MAP

The Mercado is conveniently located at Fifth and Monroe Streets in downtown Phoenix.

From the east valley, take I-10 west (Los Angeles) and exit 7th Street south.
From the west valley, take I-10 east (Tucson) and exit 7th Street south.
From north Phoenix, take SR-51 south to I-10 west and exit 7th Street south.

 After Be a Leader, we tour and talk to the College Depot. 

College Depot provides full-service college planning through outreach, guidance, resources and referrals for free. It is located on the second floor of Burton Barr Central Library.

College Depot offers:

    • One-on-one assistance with the college application process

College Depot’s hours of service differ from Central Library’s schedule.

Ballet under the Stars 2011

Ballet Arizona presents its 14th annual series at parks from September 18—25.

It is FREE and open to the public. 

Ballet under the Stars allows communities to enjoy dance in a unique outdoor setting complete with a stage, lighting, costumes, and the beautiful Arizona weather.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the Ballet under the Stars

This is a perfect show for the entire family. 

It is a great way to introduce ballet to your children for the first time.

All performances start at 7:00 p.m. and are FREE and open to the public
